APRL is an award-winning emerging paper engineer, illustrator, and designer.

APRL (April) without an "i" represents what she creates or does isn't fully about her. She is indefinitely inspired by two distinct fields – science and arts. She is experimenting with the possibilities of paper's materiality and how it can be intertwined with various mediums in creating innovative visual storytelling experience. A Tail's Tale, her undergraduate thesis, is recognized by the Movable Book Society as the winner of the Emerging Paper Engineer Prize.
