An Ode to the Little Drummer Girl is an interactive paper sculpture replicating the rhythm of clapping directed by the drummer / the audience.
The interaction is based on exchange between the material and the audience = to listen and to play // to play and to listen, resulting in motion and sound. It provides a corner stage to perform and write an ode to the little drummer girl from every beat.
The paper sculpture remains suspended in silence until one's intervention, mirroring the creative process itself: it only comes alive when we choose to listen and play.
